Developing medical sensors is a hard task, data is scarce and often very expensive. It takes massive amounts of effort to collect and analyze small amounts of data so making the most of this small data set is paramount to success.
Using Vanti, researchers where able to leverage a data set of only 400 points spanning 15 design variants to isolate which design family is going to maximize performance in the future and to focus the next round of data collection. Vanti was able to deliver X7 improvement in R&D cost.
Background
- Very small data set - performance of prototypes
- Each data point is very expensive
Output
- Recommendation for next data points to be collected
- Projected performance
